The chips where the driver had problems were on the older, pre 1Kxxx ones, because it would load defaults that worked for the HD series. But I have two questions. Sun Jun 21 Nope the aticonfig --initial -f didn't work for me. I have only something like terminal when I turn on my computer, so I'll have to do everything from there Can't say the proprjetary for nvidia's blob, which replaces most of X and that is the smallest of offenses it's guilty off.
