Logitech HD Webcam C finally able to get some webcam goodness going, however not able to use it to its full potential. Pat Hertel c6615 3. October 18th, 2. The camera worked fine when I plugged it in but the Mic wasn't being recognized. Perhaps reinstalling would help? Check out the audio settings, it's not a camera problem.
lijux Tried Cheese again, still nothing. See Logitech UVC devices list for more information. I've bought the camera, you're right ,it's working, see the edit to my question. The repository archive can be downloaded here. This can sometime lead to the camera failing to be recognized by the kernel. Camera works fine on LTS
